Angelica is a seasoned, bilingual marketing and public relations professional who has utilized her “Out of the Box” strategy for the last 10 years to lead public relations, social media, multicultural marketing and community and government affairs initiatives for major non-profits, financial institutions, healthcare providers, government entities, labor and professional organizations, universities, consumer goods companies and professional athletes.

She is the founder of The Imagen Group, a consulting practice that specializes in developing marketing and communications strategy for organizations that want to reach the Hispanic consumer.

Angelica knows the importance of connecting with your audience. She spent 10 year in front of the camera as a reporter and news anchor. As the lead anchor inCalifornia and Nevada, she was recognizedfor being instrumental in helping the news outlets attains the highest ratings in the Country among key demographics.

As a bilingual professional, she has been able to connect with diverse audiences and communities to address controversial issues, diffuse negative messages and work effectively as a spokesperson for mainstream and Spanish language media. Serving as an ongoing national media spokesperson appearing on Spanish language radio and television to include: Univision TV and Radio, Telemundo Azteca America and CNN Latino.

And in times of crisis, the experience as a former journalist enables her to prepare an organization’s leadership and executive team to effectively respond to the tough questions posed by reporters, while protecting the reputation of the organization.

Angelica earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business Administration and completed numerous specialty programs in Marketing, Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism from The University of California, Los Angeles.

Over the years, she has been actively involved as a member of the advisory board for community groups dedicated to improving the lives of underserved childrenandwomen --promoting education, health and professional development. Serving asa member of the Board of Directors for the Public Relations Society of America-LA Chapter as Diversity/Multicultural Chair and The National Latina Business Women Association-LA Chapter.
