Karen Nguyen is the National Manager of Programs and Technology Integration for Kia Motors America where she manages a large portfolio of enterprise-based systems and programs for over 779 retailers nationwide. The business-to-business (B2B) enterprise system has 30,000 active users, 86 dealer-facing systems, and over 100,000 hits per day. Prior to this position, Karen was the Customer Satisfaction Manager handling the corporate strategic planning and development of national improvement initiatives to increase customer satisfaction, service profitability, and customer retention for Kia Motors America.
Karen has an undergraduate degree at Cal State Fullerton in Business Administration and two professional certificates in Project Management and Business Analysis from University of Irvine Division of Continuing Education (UCIDCE). After completing her certificates, she passed her Project Management Professional (PMPP) exam. In 2013, UCIDCE invited her to be their Keynote Speaker for the graduating class, and presented her with the Alumni of the Year award. She also completed a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Panel Discussion in Project Management with over 300,000 enrollments worldwide. Karen is currently taking her Masters of Science in Project Management at University of Wisconsin. She will be graduating fall of 2017. Despite Karen’s personal tragedy of unexpectedly losing her husband, she continues to thrive amid struggles of being a single parent to two young daughters. She juggles graduate school with family, full-time work, and running her late husband’s company. To help inspire others to achieve their success, Karen also doesmotivational speaking for organizations and charity events across the U.S.
