It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 2009 California Diversity & Leadership Conference sponsored by the University of Phoenix.  In these tough economic times we know that  companies are seeking to do more with less.  I believe at this conference you will learn how to do that through leveraging diversity and inclusion.  Studies show that diverse teams that work well together perform much better than homogeneous teams in coming up with innovative ideas.

Whether you are a seasoned diversity practitioner or an individual hoping to jumpstart a diversity and inclusion program in your organization, you will find what you are seeking here.   Our hope is that you will leave reinvigorated and inspired with the tools you need to continue the journey.
